Varietal and classy Perfumed with typical scent of pear, apricot and citrus. In the mouth is dry and restrained, fresh, classy and well balanced. It tastes of lime and almond, and there is a hint of flint. The finish is very clean. Very good match for fish, seafood pasta or risotto, but also for mild goat cheese. I read a couple of reviews of this wine and eventually decided to go out an buy a bottle as my girlfriend is rather partial to Pinot Grigio. I'm normally a red drinker, but wanted to make sure what I had hunter gathered was up to standard.
