It is a reliable wine for a fiver or less, but I wouldn't pay more than that - nothing special. The good thing is it is readily available well under the 7-10 pound mark touted here.

A very heavy sugary presence, with a slight aroma.
Good body and a very nice ruby colour.
Slight aftertaste on sweet side, but worth the reduced price I paid.
Good for freshening the palette after some strong flavours.
